The picture is confused, very confused. The many interpretations of reality do contribute, including alarms and cunningly tame data, urban legends and fake news, proposals that are eliding, contradicting and colliding one another. Who’s right? The solution consists in mutual respect, a reciprocity that is not real at the moment. As long as one side wants to prevail over the other, defending itself will be the only possible reaction. But if the defense consists in accusing a whole People to be the aggressor, although it is clear that those few aggressors only happen to belong to that social group but they count nothing although they unrealistically claim to represent their people, there is the risk that such an unfair behavior against that whole People may only cause its instinctive sympathy towards those aggressors that so appear as their “defenders”, while they are not at all. A stupid “own goal”, a suicide because it all leads to a dramatic or even tragic conflict of civilizations! Nor can it be denied that the real problem lies in Western countries, and current Europe is the most striking example of it, since a divided society is weak and easily conquered by those who have clearer and more unified ideas. So, in which direction to go? It depends on all of us, Europeans, migrants and states from which they come, Christians and Muslims, and so on. Let’s find out how.
Perhaps the question that is often lacking and instead should be asked is another: what or who caused all this? Was it a random sequence of events or is there a plan with defined goals, possibly thought after the first events or even stimulating them? As can be guessed from these same questions, while not excluding anything, it is necessary to avoid deleterious and misleading paranoia. Paranoid attitudes only serve to avoid seeing things with rationality and a constructive spirit.
But at this stage of things the main question remains: how can we get out of it? It would be desirable, however, to avoid an absurd conflict between substantial victims, especially if there were those who, sly, sneer while a fratricidal struggle is being carried out, physical or virtual, because even in the latter case it is relationships between civilizations and people that are destroyed by fear or hatred one another. Artificial and unfounded fears and hatred, that’s the saddest side.
One thing is certain: A Europe in trouble and an Islam to be blamed in its entirety are comfortable for someone. Therefore, it is good to begin to reason, look around carefully, try to understand the reasons of one and the other, and carefully distinguish between proclamations and concrete acts, between accusations and true responsibility … And with that “carefully” I am invitating everyone to identify the REAL actors who have the responsibility and act… or make others act, well manipulated, in order not to be identified.
The worst thing to do in such delicate situations and to point the finger at the whole community to which the real culprits belong, almost always a mass of people unaware of the strategies of those few actors and therefore unjustly accused.
I understand that it is more convenient to simplify our own life and to point out a single scapegoat…
“They were the Muslims!”, “It’s Italians’ fault !”, “French pigs!”, “Damn Americans!”, “All Africans are shit!”, “May all Westerners die!”, “Migrants, all criminals! “,” The Russians want to subjugate us! “,” It was all caused by those carrion of the Party xxx! “,” Christian murderers! “, … accusations that we do hear often, don’t we?
Please, let’s reflect, because whatever or whoever has led us to such accusations or aggressive offenses, is actually holding us in one’s hands and we have become its puppets! Prisoners of our hatred or of those who instilled it in us, we will not go anywhere!
It is much more difficult to distinguish and identify the true and always few guilty ones. Identifying them requires patience, intelligence and commitment. But think about what you would do if in this massacre game you were the next victims of such unfair heavy and generalized accusations: how would you feel if someone accused you of acts of which you not only have no responsibility, but in which you could not have a say in the matter even if you wanted it?
Unfortunately, there are worrying episodes that happened to unsuspecting tourists who, arrived in another country 
for a holiday or for work, were attacked by local citizens, demagogically provoked against all that People by some local demagogue that makes his words become some dangerous weapons of mass destruction, at least because they destroy relations between those two peoples. And note that this happens on both sides, so no one thinks that their community / party is immune to such behavior. An absurdity!
On the wave of anger there is only damage and injustice, whose price will have to be paid sooner or later. But paying for the unscrupulous absurdity and perfidiousness of a few imbeciles or cynical carrion is even more absurd.
So, the wisest thing to do is stay calm and analyze the facts, the concrete and demonstrable ones. There is no lack of research on this matter and in this INSIGHT360 we will publish some very serious and significant researches, or at least we will quote authors’ political orientation or their link to a specific party, so to let you value it objectively. They all show the same thing: the problem exists and it is dangerous only if it is not dealt with and especially if it is not resolved constructively, without any part being damaged.
We believe that the solution is more affordable than you think in this moment of chaos. The “crises”, as the ancient Greeks explained, citing the etymology of the word, are opportunities for change. Whether this change will be positive or negative depends on us and our common sense, of all, no one excluded.
