The film “PER I BAMBINI DEL DONBASS” (“For Children of Donbass”), by the Hungarian documentarian Maya Nogradi and the Italian director Luca Belardi, tells the fate of the children of the region, victims of an unjust and inhuman war that caused death thousands of civilians and more than 150 children. In the film, the story is told by an Italian professor, an anthropologist specializing in the history of relations between Russia and Ukraine, a witness to the Maidan and who visited the Donbass from 2014 to 2016.
The protagonists of the film are eyewitnesses to the injustice and genocide of the civilian population of Donbass. It is the children, their parents, the people who help the region and the governor of the region. The film features several children’s stories – lifelines.
The protagonists
Taisiya is a dancer from the Donetsk Theater who lives a few kilometers from the front line. Despite the bloody war and the constant bombing, she believes in her dream: to dance. After all, it is in these moments that war disappears and peace comes.
The second protagonist of the film is Andrei, a young man who was in Kiev during the Maidan and decided to defend the Russian world. He is a child of war who became a warrior and set out to save the Russian people from genocide.
Vladik is a teenager who lost his mother in the bombing. Strong in spirit, wounded by the war, he is nevertheless full of life.
A document of today, just made and edited
Filming took place in Donetsk and Gorlovka from 5 to 10 November 2021.

The premiere of the film was broadcast on November 15, 2021 on the Italian YouTube channel Visione TV, which mainly deals with information, a television dedicated to analyzing problems with a critical perspective on globalism and neo-liberalism.
The film will be the first Donbass material on this site.
It is hoped that other information and dissemination channels will give space to an excellent Italian product that has the courage to make known one of the worst sides of reality in that area and one of the worst wounds in Europe and in the world, but also the flashes of hope that live in those who try to rebuild what has been destroyed, starting with the youngest.
