And why? Our survival depends on recognizing, on an OBJECTIVE basis, who is manipulating and messing us up and who could help us. But, mainly we need to believe in ourselves and in our identities and capabilities and put them together in the interest of all, without losing our sovereignty, in mutual respect.

At the conference “But what are the interests of the European peoples and who pursues them?” Italian and French politicians, public figures and representatives of the scientific community participated.
Among the speakers were Professor Alexandre Del Valle (well-known politician and political scientist, from France), Senator Luigi Marino (politician, political scientist and scholar of the Russian and former Soviet system, Italy), Dr. Stefano Vernole (Director of CeSEM , Center for Eurasian-Mediterranean Studies, Eurasia, Italy), Dr. Marco Ghisetti (geopolitics analyst for Eurasia magazine, Italy) Moderator of the event was Guido De Simone (founder of Polis Etica).
During the meeting, the participants agreed that since 1945 Europe has not been free and, in order to achieve true freedom and a true international role, the EU must intelligently free itself from any “external” control and in all fields (monetary, military, economic, political), while maintaining good relations with everyone.

In their speeches, the speakers drew attention to the negative consequences caused by the fact that Europe follows without objection the US ideological and destructive policy against Russia (Russia which is precisely the missing leg of a lame West) and essentially obeying, without objection, save for Orban’s Hungary, to Washington’s self-centered and increasingly self-defeating strategy.

The meeting also discussed the negative consequences of EU countries’ supply of arms to Ukraine, with direct costs and economic and social consequences that have only damaged the standard of living of European citizens and not Russia.
The participants in the meeting addressed the Ukrainian crisis and its consequences from various points of view, including what worries the inhabitants of the European continent very much: involvement in a continental war that is only destructive, if not definitive (atomic).
They also expressed their negative opinion on granting Ukraine the status of candidate country for accession to the European Union. It is an ideological and dangerous move, but also an insult to all the principles by which all other aspirants are still valued today and by which adherents in the past have been accepted. And today’s Ukraine is NOT at all compatible with the principles of the European Union on all levels.

Professor ALEXANDER DEL VALLE offered a critical analysis of the European system, noting that it was conceived not in Europe, but in America and therefore it is a purely American project.
“Then it was motivated by opposition to the Soviet Communist bloc and financed by the Marshall Plan. So how can we expect it to be in the interest of the Europeans?”
Del Valle asks a reasonable question.
Regarding the Ukrainian crisis, the speaker noted that the plan to force Ukraine and Georgia to join NATO was a real provocation and was denounced even by major American strategists such as Henry Kissinger and John Mearsheimer: “We provoked the Russians. And we know why it happened, because Russian gas is a huge risk for the American globalists. ”
According to him, Russian resources would make Germany very independent and this would create the conditions for creating a strategy for an autonomous Europe, but this step would represent a great danger from the American point of view.
Therefore, according to him, the Americans and NATO did everything possible to induce the Russians to act in Ukraine and provoke a Ukrainian crisis. And this was a great opportunity for them to deprive Europe of this small opportunity to become autonomous at the expense of Russian gas.
The Italian-French political scientist also explained the reasons for the origin of the “Russian enemy”, which was born out of nothing.
As for the European question, Del Valle concluded that Europe does not exist, there are only the interests of the Atlantists.

Huntington, who stated that “a sovereign Ukraine independent of Russia is a component of critical importance, since it represents a pillar for those states that are for us. ) strategically decisive, such as Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, on which the United States played to destroy the unity of the Asian continent ”.
And he added that: “European identity is weak because they want to make it weak”.
The conclusion of the Director of CeSEM is that: “Europe and its states need military, monetary, industrial, economic and political sovereignty, which it does not have today because it is controlled by Washington”.

The moderator of the meeting, GUIDO DE SIMONE, founder of POLIS ETICA, drew attention to the scarce ability of the current European leadership to do otherwise, rather adapting to the situation.
